The small cherry pitter is easy to store and fits in any kitchen at home. With the small cherry pitter, pitting is slower than with the large cherry pitter, but the pitter is very handy. The large cherry pitter is ideal for pitting many cherries in a short time and it is also very easy to use.
This is how a small cherry pitter works:
- Remove the stems from the cherries you want to pitted
- Place the cherry in the pitter with the part that contained the stalk on the side of the rod that goes through the cherry
- Squeeze the tongs closed.
TIP: We recommend pitting your cherries over a tray and keeping your hand in front of it, this way the cherry pits don't fly in all directions and you are less likely to get stains on your clothes from the splatters that can come from pitting.
How the large cherry pitter works
- Remove the stems from the cherries you are going to pitted.
- Place the cherries in the top, open, transparent container.
- Place a container under the outlet of the cherry pitter; it will catch the cherries once they are pitted.

The cherries fall into the tray which you have prepared at the exit of the cherry pitter and the pits fall into the transparent tray at the bottom of the cherry pitter.
