Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
French brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have been working together for more than a decade as a well-known designer duo. In the year 1997, as a duo, they presented the creation called "disintegrated kitchen" at the Salon du Meuble in Paris. During this exhibition, the brothers were noticed by Giulio Cappellini. He was very impressed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, giving the designer duo their first industrial design project.
In the year 2000, Issey Miyake asked them to design a space for his new collection in Paris. After this, the decisive meeting with the president of Vitra took place. This resulted in their innovative concept for a new kind of office system. This was the beginning of a special partnership that has borne fruit in numerous projects.
Today, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec design for various manufacturers, including the Italian brand Alessi. At the same time, the designer duo maintains their experimental activity essential for the development of new creations at Galerie Kreo located in Paris. They also work on occasional architectural projects. Among other things, they were elected "Designers of the Year 2002" at the Salon du Meuble in Paris.
