Who is Acton Bjørn?
Acton Bjørn was an influential Danish designer born January 20, 1910 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is known for his clean, functional designs that reflect the essence of Scandinavian design. Acton Bjørn died in 1992, but his legacy lives on in his timeless creations.
Education and Career
Acton Bjørn trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied architecture and design. His education gave him a solid foundation in both the technical and artistic aspects of design. After completing his studies, he and Sigvard Bernadotte founded the design firm Bernadotte & Bjørn, which focused on industrial design.
