Miriam Mirri
In 1964, designer Miriam Mirri was born in Bologna. Mirri graduated from the Scuola Superiore Disegno Anatomico and then also studied Design and Communication at the Università del Progetto. In the field of design, Mirri has collaborated with big names such as Nigel Coates and Stefano Giovannoni. Consequently, much of Mirri's and Giovannoni's work corresponds to each other.
In 2000, Mirri started working more as a freelancer. She did projects for several companies including Alessi, Häagen-Dazs and United Pets. For Alessi for example, Mirri designed various feeding bowls. In 2006, Mirri won the Fritz Henkel Prize in the field of innovation. Her work has also been exhibited in various national and international exhibitions.
