How does a Coravin wine system work

The Coravin wine system allows you to drink your wine without opening the bottle. With this wine system, you don't have to throw away your bottle of wine after 1 day. This system only works with bottles that have a natural cork. There is a needle in the wine system that goes through the cork. Argon gas is injected through the bottle. The gas is heavier than oxygen, causing the wine to rise. Due to this high pressure, no oxygen reaches the wine. This way you can preserve your bottle longer.

1. First, clip the wine system onto your wine bottle.
2. Then carefully but firmly push the needle down.
3. Pour your glass as you normally would, but press the top button.
4. Then carefully remove the needle from the cork by pulling the system upward.
5. The system can then be removed from the wine bottle.
6. Finally, you can enjoy the same bottle for many more days.
