Aurélien Barbry
Aurélien Barbry sees design as an exercise where you take the simplest things in your daily life and ask yourself what could be done differently and more elegantly without losing sight of function.
Barbry graduated from the Ecole Camondo in Paris as an industrial and interior designer and began his career working with renowned architect Jean Nouvel. He founded his own studio in 2007 and is now based in Copenhagen.
Aurélien Barbry has collaborated with several Danish and international furniture and product manufacturers such as Georg Jensen, Le Klint, Normann Copenhagen, Vipp, Cor, and interior design for Issey Miyake, among others. His work has received international awards such as the Cologne Interior innovation award 2010 and has recently exhibited in Milan, Madrid, Cologne, and Paris.
