Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen was a Danish designer, architect and professor. Shortly after completing his architectural studies, Arne Jacobsen founded his own architectural firm in Copenhagen in 1930. In addition to his well-known designs such as St Catherine's College in Oxford and the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen also designed interior products.
For example, he is best known for the chairs The Egg and The Ant. These unique chairs were designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen that he designed. In this way, he was able to combine his passion for architecture and interior design. He also designed home accessories and tableware, such as his Arne Jacobsen cutlery collection for the Danish brand Georg Jensen.
