The Coravin wine system allows you to drink your wine without opening the bottle. Through this wine system, you don't have to throw away your bottle of wine after 1 day. This system only works for bottles with a natural cork. There is a needle in the wine system and it goes through the cork. Argon gas is injected through the bottle. The gas is heavier than oxygen; it causes the wine to rise. Because of that high pressure, no oxygen gets to the wine. This allows you to keep your bottle longer.
- First click the wine system on your wine bottle.
- You then push the needle down gently but firmly.
- Pour your glass as you normally would, but click the top button.
- Next, carefully remove the needle from the cork, you pull up the system.
- The system can then come off the wine bottle.
- Finally, you can enjoy the same bottle for many days to come.
