Architect Stefano Giovannoni designed for the plastic collection of Alessi the cheerful eggcup Cico in 2009. The plastic figurine keeps the salt hidden in his cap and always has the egg spoon at hand. When he takes off his cap, it makes way for a delicious boiled egg.

Eggcup Cico is one of the designs through which Stefano Giovannoni was awarded the title "Champion Of The Super & Popular" of the 2000s. The other award winners are Stefano Giovannoni's toothpick holder, toilet brush, sugar bowl and the delicious-smelling cookie jar.
