Recipes Baking Gluten-free Sugar Free

Water-toothing I can marvel at the pictures from Suzanne and Johan's blog where they beautifully capture the most delicious recipes. Suzanne is a stylist and Johan a photographer (and teacher), and that turns out to be the perfect combo for beautiful photos. Recently I saw this delicious recipe for gluten-free and sugar-free donuts from the oven on their blog and I had to make it. The recipe is slightly modified, actually because I had no egg in the house, but therefore it is also suitable for vegans. Lucky accident, because the donuts also worked without egg.

Recipe

Gluten-free and sugar-free donuts from the oven

Why deep-fry when you can just do it in the oven? This is a lot healthier and at least as tasty. Try this version of donuts yourself.

  • 2 teaspoons crushed flaxseed
  • 35 grams of coconut oil

Gluten-free and sugar-free donuts from the oven

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
    2. Coat the donut shape with coconut oil.
    3. Mix the banana and apple sauce in the blender and add the vanilla extract and coconut oil. Mix well. In another bowl, put the dry ingredients together: coconut flour, almond flour, linseed, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Stir and then add the banana mixture and stir the dough well.
    4. Divide the batter with a spoon over the donut shape and smooth out.
    5. Bake the donuts for 35-40 minutes until golden brown in the middle of the oven.
    6. Let the donuts cool down before you remove them from the form. Do this carefully, then they will stay very whole! Serve with a nice soy cappuccino and you have a fantastic start to your day?
