Apple Pie

How do you make apple pie?

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
    2. Put the buckwheat flour, almond flour and salt in a bowl and mix together.
    3. In another, mix bowl mix the honey with the coconut oil and applesauce well.
    4. Now add the wet ingredients to the flour and mix until you have a nice dough ball. Put the dough into the bowl and cover it so it doesn't dry out.
    5. Now peel the apples and cut them into wedges. Put this in a bowl and mix in the raisins, cinnamon and the 4 tablespoons of almond flour.
    6. Grease a 25cm diameter springform pan well with coconut oil. Roll out the dough into a large flat sheet. I do this between 2 sheets of baking paper. When the slice is larger than the springform pan (including the edges) remove the top sheet of baking paper and put the bake form upside down in the center of the dough.
    7. Put your hand under the sheet of baking paper and turn the whole thing over. Now divide the dough well into the mouldby helping it down slightly. Trim the edges.
    8. Put the apple filling into the pie pan. Roll out the rest of the dough again into an oblong slice. Cut this into strips and spread over the top of the pie.
    9. Beat the egg (or just the egg yolk) and brush it over the lattice and sides. The cake can now go into the oven.
    10. Turn the oven down to 190 degrees and bake the gluten-free apple pie for 30 minutes until golden brown.

After a long search, a lot of trying and terrible failures, it finally succeeded in putting together a good and delicious apple pie. We just leave the fat whipped cream for a while and you don't need it at all, because there is more than enough taste on the apple pie. Sometimes you have to make choices and in the area of food I sometimes have difficulty with that. In this case you can also use coconut cream. Put a can of full coconut milk turned in the fridge. The next morning you turn the can, scoop the upper, thick cream from the coconut milk and beat this. Hello Healthy whipped cream!

For this delicious gluten -free apple pie you first have to visit the supermarket and dive into the kitchen, but it is more than worth your time and money. So good luck and I am very curious who you are going to surprise with this cake. Or you eat it completely yourself ;-)
