  • Large bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Lemon squeezer
  • Fork
  • Whisk

  • 1 large jonagold apple
  • Half a lemon
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 50 g raisins
  • 1 tsp. hazelnuts
  • 1 egg

Apple fritters

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, remove the puff pastry from the freezer 20-30 minutes in advance.
    2. Peel the apple with a apple painting machine, remove the core and cut into small pieces. Do the same with the hazelnuts.
    3. Put this in a bowl and add a teaspoon of cinnamon, juice of half a lemon and the raisins. Mix well.
    4. Place a small tablespoon of the apple mixture in the middle of the puff pastry. Then fold the upper right corner diagonally to the left corner.
    5. Press the edges of the puff pastry well and possibly press some stripes into the edge with a fork.
    6. Beat the egg and brush the apple flap with a little egg mixture. Repeat this.
    7. Bake the apple flaps in about 15-20 minutes nicely golden brown.
