This 20 x 30 cm salt stone allows you to cook in a fun, innovative way. In addition, the Himalayan stone is ideal for serving hot and cold dishes. Tip: Use the salt stone to replace your gourmet set!
- The salt stone is well suited to use as a serving dish for serving, for example, amuses, appetizers, vegetables, meat or other food items.
- Serving dish for cold dishes. You put the salt stone in the freezer for about 10 minutes. Then you can place the stone on a plate place and top the stone with, for example, sushi, meat carpaccio, fish carpaccio, rolls, tarts, semifreddo or fruit.
- Keep your food warm. Heat the salt stone in an oven at 60°C for 20 to 25 minutes. Once you have removed the stone from the oven, you can place any pre-cooked, previously cooked or hot food on the salt stone to serve while the food stays warm.
- Cooking at the table. Preheat your oven to 250°C and place the stone in the middle of the oven on the rack. Leave the salt stone in the oven for about an hour before cooking with it at the table.
- Roasting fish or meat in the oven. Want to bake or roast something in the oven? Mainly for frying fish, the salt stone is ideal. You place the fish fillet on the salt stone and roast the fish for about 20-25 minutes at a temperature no higher than 150°C.
