How do you remove fly rust?

Tips to prevent fly rust

Of course, prevention is better than cure. This can be done, for example, by washing the cutlery by hand. Use a dish brush and mild detergent. If you still prefer to put your cutlery in the dishwasher, it is important to consider the following things:

Do not leave any food residue on the cutlery before putting it in the dishwasher.
After the wash cycle, remove the cutlery from the dishwasher as soon as possible. Rub it dry and check for remaining food residue.
Put the same type of cutlery together in the cutlery tray, so forks with forks and knives with knives. Knives are more likely to pick up rust due to their harder steel alloy.
