Recipes Baking gluten free Sugar free

A gluten-free banana bread is something that has been on my to-do list for a while. I myself baked one before, but I was not 100% satisfied with it. In a cookbook I came across a sugar and gluten-free banana bread and I was eager to try it. Needless to say, I gave it my own twist.

Recipe

Banana Bread

This bread tastes more like a cake. Regardless of what it really is, it is a delicious recipe and ideal as a snack.

Preparation time

Preparation time 50 min
Total 1 hr 10 min

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 50 grams of dates (without seeds)
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams of almond flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 60 grams coarsely chopped hazelnuts

Banana Bread

    1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
    2. Put the pitted dates and bananas in the food processor and mix until a smooth mixture.
    3. In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt light (2 minutes)
    4. Then carefully mix the eggs into the banana mixture and also spatula the almond flour, chopped hazelnuts and the baking moda. Stir this well until you have an even mixture.
    5. Grease a cake mold or add baking paper here. Pour the mixture into the cake mold and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
    6. If the cake gets dark too quickly, you can cover the can with some aluminum foil. Allow the banana bread to cool well before you remove it from the shape.
