Wusthof Amici

The Wusthof Amici collection is inspired by Italy. Each knife is a tribute to the collaboration with Castello di Serragiumenta. This is a 16th-century castle in the Calabrian countryside.

Inspired by the abundant sunshine and farmland of Calabria, Italy, it embodies Wusthof Amici "la dolce vita": the joyful joy of living. The Amici series combines iconic precision-forged knives with handles of uniquely grained Calabrian olive wood, combining modern craftsmanship with Italian design sensibilities to create an ideal knife for preparing and sharing meals. Each Amici knife is an original thanks to the distinct grain of the olive wood handles. The Calabrian olive tree grows slowly, with extremely durable wood that is naturally water-repellent and antibacterial. The sustainably sourced wood comes primarily from olive trees that bear little to no fruit due to their advanced age.
