- 1. When you light the candle for the first time, burn the candle for at least 1 hour and a maximum of 1.5 hours. This ensures that the wax and fragrance are activated and the wick becomes saturated with the scented wax.
- 2. Before lighting the scented candle again, it is good to check how long the wick is. It is recommended that the wick be no longer than 5 mm. This will prevent soot formation.
- 3. Every time you light the candle it is advisable to let it burn until the top layer of wax is completely melted. This will prevent tunneling.
- 4. Scented candles should not be left burning for more than 3 hours at a time. This prevents high temperatures that are detrimental to the quality of the fragrance.
How long do scented candles last?
