DUCQ pans are not only beautiful in design but also of excellent quality. The pans are composed of 3 layers: copper on the outside, stainless steel (RVS) on the inside and an aluminum intermediate layer. This results in a pan with tangible quality (wall thickness 2.5 mm) and with excellent heat distribution. The handles are fixed to the pan with nails and thus not welded as is often done nowadays, this provides a maximum lifespan. Furthermore, all pans have a folded rim which completely covers the aluminum core. This way the food never comes into contact with aluminum and the rim cannot be damaged either.
