Frying pans without non-stick coating
No non-stick coating
Pans without a non-stick coating can withstand high temperatures up to 400℃. This makes the pan ideal for searing meat. A non-stick pan consists of one type of material, such as cast iron or stainless steel. To ensure that the pan remains beautiful and usable, you must maintain it properly. For example, a non-stick pan cannot go into the dishwasher, and you have to oil it regularly to build up a natural non-stick layer. Cleaning is done with hot water and a cloth.
Heat-resistance
In normal use, a pan does not get hotter than 230 ℃. If you leave the pan on the fire without ingredients or put the pan on high heat for a long time, the temperature does rise to above that. Keep this in mind when choosing the appropriate pan.
