How do you make optimal use of your baking tray?

Carrot cakes, muffins with blueberries or a delicious banana cake ... Do you also enjoy baking in the kitchen? Then, of course, you also want to make optimal use of your baking pan! With these tips that should certainly work out.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°c
  2. Rinse the baking pan with a little lukewarm water.
  3. Now it's time to burn the pan! This creates a protective layer, which also ensures that you can easily remove your baking creation from the mould.
    Grease the baking pan with a little sunflower oil or pure linseed oil.
  4. Place the baking pan in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  5. After 20 minutes you can take the baking pan out of the oven. Are there still excess oil residues in the baking pan? You can easily remove this with a little kitchen paper.

After following these steps, your baking pan is ready for use! But even after you have used the baking pan, it is essential to keep it clean. You do this as follows:

  1. After use, clean the baking pan thoroughly with lukewarm water.
  2. Then put the baking tray back in the oven while it is still warm to let it dry properly in this way.
  3. Are there any stubborn in the baking pan? Then dissolve a drop of washing-up liquid in lukewarm water and clean the mould thoroughly again. Pay attention! In this case, it is vital to re-burn the baking pan.
