With the Blackwell Cast Iron Red Frying Pan Ø 26 cm, you are guaranteed a delicious piece of fried meat! The frying pan is made of cast iron and has a diameter of 26 cm. The frying pan is suitable for all types of heat sources and even for the BBQ! Because the pan is made of cast iron, it has a good heat distribution and retains heat for longer. The Blackwell Cast Iron Red Frying Pan Ø 26 cm is perfect for frying a tasty piece of meat or fish! After use, the pan can be easily cleaned with warm water and soap. The pans are not dishwasher safe.

My blackwell pan keeps sticking. how can i fix this? ~ Anna Murphy

  • Before first use, wash the pan in warm water.
  • Then dry it thoroughly with a cloth. Grease the inside of the pan well with vegetable oil and heat the oiled pan for half an hour. Your cast-iron pan is now ready for use.
  • Always grease the pan well before use. This prevents the pan from rusting. Dry the cast-iron pan thoroughly immediately after use. This pan is not dishwasher safe.
  • Use your pan the first few times mainly for meat and other fatty foods so that a natural patina develops. It takes some time for the pan to form this natural non-stick coating.
  • Want to use the pan for grilling or deep-frying? Make sure the pan is hot enough first. This does not apply to other cooking methods.
  • Cast iron will rust if it is not properly greased with vegetable oil or if it is not dried immediately after washing.
  • Rusting - If your cast iron pan starts to rust, place it in a sink with warm water. Add baking soda and/or vinegar to this and scrub away the rust with steel wool.
  • After you have cleaned your cast-iron pan, grease it well again right away with vegetable oil. This is because you can remove the natural non-stick coating with the scrubbing.
