This Microplane Mandoline Specialties - Black is made of plastic and 18/10 stainless steel. The mandoline is designed in such a way that it has 3 different cutting settings. The thickness varies from 1 mm to 3 mm. The width of the cutting surface is 8 cm. The handle is made of rubber, so that the mandoline doesn't slip out of your hand easily. The Microplane mandoline also comes with a julienne cutter, which can also be removed. It can then be stored at the bottom by clicking the julienne attachment into the holder. A hand protector is also included to prevent cutting your fingers.
