Giulio Iacchetti
Giulio Iacchetti is an Italian designer who has been working as an industrial designer since 1992. In his life, he has worked with big names such as Danese, Pandora design and Alessi, among others. For the latter brand, he designed, for example, beautifully shaped objects such as wine racks and a champagne cooler.
Iacchetti has won many prestigious prizes up to now, such as the Compasso d'Oro in 2001. He received this award for the design of a fork and spoon in one, which he designed together with the Italian Matteo Ragni. Eight years later, in 2009, Iacchetti received the Premio dei Premi for his Coop Eureka project. In 2014, he was once again awarded the Compasso d'Oro. This time he won the award for the manhole cover 'Sfera' which he again designed with Matteo Ragni.
