This Cafetiere from Alessi is perfect for making cold coffee. This ancient method originated in Mazagran, an Algerian village. By not using hot water, no oxidation will occur, allowing the coffee to maintain an intense and full flavor. This is ideal for a hot summer day, to enjoy a fresh and intensely flavored cup of coffee.
In addition, the cafetiere is designed to be placed in your refrigerator's bottle compartment, so that the cold coffee can be kept at the right temperature. After use, the Mazagran can be easily cleaned by hand, however, the lid and filter are dishwasher safe and can be put in the dishwasher.

Giulio Iacchetti is an Italian designer who has been working as an industrial designer since 1992. In his life, he has worked with big names such as Danese, Pandora design and Alessi, among others. Iacchetti has won many prestigious prizes up to now, such as the Compasso d'Oro in 2001. He received this award for the design of a fork and spoon in one, which he designed together with the Italian Matteo Ragni. Eight years later, in 2009, Iacchetti received the Premio dei Premi for his Coop Eureka project. In 2014, he was once again awarded the Compasso d'Oro. This time he won the award for the manhole cover 'Sfera' which he again designed with Matteo Ragni.
