The coffee machine uses size 4 coffee filters and also features a blooming function for even more aroma. This 'pre-brewing' process is derived from manual coffee brewing techniques. It preps the coffee in advance, with a little water for a pleasant soft mouthfeel. The coffee machine also has a removable aroma funnel. This ensures excellent mixing in the carafe and prevents the formation of bitter sediment. The separate warming plate keeps your coffee warm for up to 40 minutes. This is especially useful when making extra coffee. The coffee maker's extra-large water reservoir has a capacity of 1.5 liters. With the timer function, you can set the machine in advance. Matteo Thun, architect and designer, was born in Bolzano in 1952. Antonio Rodriguez, born and raised in Spain, studied product design in Valencia and Milan. A meeting between the two led to the creation of Matteo Thun & Partners in 2001. From this creative company, projects in architecture, interior design and product design are developed. 

The men's creative approach to product design is characterised by simplified forms and the use of warm and natural materials. At the basis of each project is an in-depth study of materials, technologies, the market and the customer with a view to combining minimal appearance with functionality.
