The needle set from the luxury brand Coravin is a must-have for every wine lover with a Coravin wine system! With this set, you have the right needle at hand for every bottle and situation. All needles are made of high-quality stainless steel with a Teflon coating. The Teflon coating ensures that the needle pierces the cork with minimal friction. In addition, the coating provides durability and the needles last for approximately one hundred uses. It is advised to replace the needles after one hundred uses. This reduces the risk of the needle breaking!

This needle is included as standard when purchasing a Coravin wine tap. The standard needle is made of high-quality stainless steel with a Teflon coating. In addition, you can pour a delicious glass of wine in just 25 seconds with the standard needle. The standard needle can be recognized by the black ring!
With the Faster Pour needle from Coravin, you can tap wine 20% faster than with the standard needle. This allows you to fill your wine glass in just 19 seconds! The needle is specially developed and is therefore thicker than the standard needle. It is advised not to use the Faster Pour needle if the cork is no longer in good condition. Because the needle is thicker, it can seriously damage an old and fragile cork. The Faster Pour needle can be recognized by the red ring!
The vintage needle is thinner than the standard needle, allowing you to easily tap wine from bottles with an old fragile cork. The disadvantage is that pouring wine with the vintage needle is 40% slower than with the standard needle, but patience is rewarded! Pouring a wine glass with the vintage needle takes approximately 53 seconds. You can recognize this needle by its yellow ring.
