This Kitchen Scale on batteries combines a pure, modern design with highly accurate measurements. The housing contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery, so you don't have to constantly buy new batteries. You can charge this electronic scale with a USB cable.
The scale automatically turns on when you touch the display and turns off by itself when you no longer use it. The high-quality glass is easy to clean, which is convenient when you want to weigh meat and fruit directly on the scale.
Because the weighing surface is so large, you can always read the built-in LCD display perfectly, even when weighing large quantities. Weighing can also be done in grams and ounces, which is useful for international recipes. The Zwilling Kitchen Scale accurately weighs up to 10 kg. With the tare function, you can also use bowls or dishes and weigh different ingredients one after the other.
Matteo Thun, architect and designer, was born in Bolzano in 1952. Antonio Rodriguez, born and raised in Spain, studied product design in Valencia and Milan. A meeting between the two led to the creation of Matteo Thun & Partners in 2001. From this creative company, projects in architecture, interior design and product design are developed.
The men's creative approach to product design is characterised by simplified forms and the use of warm and natural materials. At the basis of each project is an in-depth study of materials, technologies, the market and the customer with a view to combining minimal appearance with functionality.
