The precise, double serrated edge of WÜSTHOF makes this bread knife clearly different: unlike a single serrated edge, this knife has serrations within serrations, which means it stays sharp longer, requires less pressure, and is suitable for very precise, smooth cuts. Bread with a hard crust is not flattened when sliced with this double serrated blade, while bread with a soft crust is also cleanly sliced without tearing the delicate surface. For optimal lifespan, it is recommended to clean the knives by hand immediately after use.
