Unlike the other Minosharp water sharpeners, this sharpener has three sharpening stages instead of two. This allows you to polish the knife in addition to sharpening it using the yellow wheel.

Using the Minosharp water sharpener is very easy. Before use, pour a little water into the container. The water in the wheel compartment rinses the whetstones and prevents the knives from overheating. This sharpener has three ceramic wheels, each with a different coarseness.

Start with the blue, coarse wheel. Hold the knife with your index finger on the back of the blade and place it vertically in the blue wheel. Move the knife back and forth under light pressure, 7 to 8 times. Then do the same with the brown wheel. To get your knives razor-sharp again, repeat the above step with the yellow sharpening wheel. This wheel ensures that all newly sharpened burrs are straightened.

This Minosharp water sharpener 0550BR is specifically suitable for all Global knives. If your knives are extremely dull or from a different knife brand, repeat the movements 15 times. After sharpening, rinse the knife with warm water and dry it before use.
