In the Master series of the Microplane brand, there are several graters, including the Microplane Coarse Grater. The blade is made of 18/10 stainless steel and is attached to the handle with an extra reinforced stainless steel housing. This Microplane fine grater is suitable for grating and shaving cheese, chocolate, lemon and orange zest, ginger, and peppers, among other things. After use, it is best to clean this Microplane grater with a mild detergent and brush. The grater comes with a plastic protective cover, which prevents damage to the grater.
Microplane is a global brand for exceptionally sharp culinary utensils. Perhaps best known for their graters, the brand has revolutionised the way chefs and home cooks grate a wide range of ingredients for tasty, gourmet-style cooking and baking.
In addition to graters, they offer a variety of kitchen gadgets, including tools for garlic, apples, ginger, herbs, spices, avocados, slicers and more. Microplane uses a chemical process called photo-etching. The result is much sharper teeth and durable, ultra-sharp stainless steel blades.
