The cutlery series Knife Fork Spoon was designed by designer Jasper Morrison for Alessi in 2004. Later (2008), the Plate Bowl Cup (tableware), Glass Family (glassware), and Pots & Pans (pans) series followed in the same style. Like the cutlery series, the glassware Glass Family has a minimalist, stylish design: no unnecessary details but a sleek, timeless design. Glass Family is made of crystal glass and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. This white wine glass is 6.3 cm tall and has a capacity of 23 cl.

Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and graduated from Kingston Polytechnic Design School in London, after which he continued his studies at the Royal College of Art. As if that wasn't enough, he also studied in Germany at the Berlins HdK.
In 1986, Jasper Morrison started his own design agency in London. Works from this period include the Documenta 8 exhibition in Kassel in 87. A year later, he received an invitation to participate in the Design Werkstadt as a part of the Berlin Cultural Capital of Europe. His work has been shown in many cities, including Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and Bordeaux.
In his career, Jasper has developed many different products for many different big names such as Alessi, Alias, Canon, Olivetti, Ideal Standaar, Muji, Samsung, Sony, Rowenta, Rosenthal and Magis.
Alessi is an Italian brand founded in 1921. The extensive range consists of tableware, kitchen accessories, bakeware, wine accessories and household items. Each product is special because of its own design. Each object should move people, convey emotions, evoke memories, surprise and go against the general thinking.
In recent decades, Alessi has also included many other materials in their catalog, such as wood, porcelain, glass and plastic.
