- Large: these candles have a diameter of 11 cm and are 16.5 cm high. They have a burning time of ± 100 hours

- Every time you use a Vellutier candle, you should let it burn for 3 to 4 hours. This allows the wax to melt properly from edge to edge and ensures an even burn of the candle, this is also called pooling. If you don't do this, the candle will start to tunnel. Tunnelling is when the wax does not melt evenly. This prevents optimal use, making the candle not have as many burning hours.
- Pay attention to the length of the cotton wick, it may not be longer than approximately 5 mm. After the candle has cooled, you can cut off the burned part of the wick until the wick has the desired length. Do not forget to clean the surface of the Vellutier candle from possible dirt.
- Never leave a Vellutier candle unattended, and always place it on a heat-resistant surface. Allow the candle to cool completely until the wax has returned to its original solid state before re-lighting or cleaning the wick.
