Robert Herder has been producing knives for over 150 years. Not only do they make their well-known paring knives, but also beautiful kitchen knives, chef's knives, carving knives and collector's items such as lignum knives.
The knives are made of carbon steel and stainless steel. Both knives undergo a special way of grinding and polishing, which makes the knives thinner and sharper than an average knife. The knives are still handmade and assembled. Each knife undergoes 60-70 treatments before it is ready for use.
