To increase the life span of your Coravin Model Five, it is important that you handle this system with care. Cleaning a Coravin wine system is quick and easy! The needle is easy to clean using warm water. You can clean the wine system itself by holding the nozzle under the tap (but not for too long). After cleaning, the system should be dried with a clean, dry cloth. Then the excess water has to be removed from the system by pressing the button. Then the system can be stored or used again.
Note: never submerge this wine system entirely in water!
Coravin was founded by Greg Lambrecht. He combined his knowledge of medical needles with his passion for wine to develop a unique wine storage system that allowed him to pour wine without removing the cork. The wine tastes as if the bottle has just been opened, even if it is years later.
