Pans with a Ceramic non-stick coating are resistant to temperatures up to 400 °C and provide a crispy coating around your ingredients. This makes these pans particularly suitable for frying meat and vegetables. The layer of ceramic must be cleaned by hand and therefore cannot be put in the dishwasher. Is the pan discolored? Kook Then put some water and vinegar in it to get it shiny clean again.
In normal use, a pan does not get hotter than 230°C. If you leave the pan on the stove without ingredients or put it on high heat for a long time, the temperature does rise above that. Keep this in mind when selecting the appropriate pan.
