Serve the sugar with the coffee from this convenient Arzberg Sugar Bowl Form 1382! The sugar bowl is made of high-quality porcelain and designed in 1931 by Herman Gretsch. The pot is white in color and has a capacity of 130 ml. It is also oven and microwave safe, so you can also use it for serving a sauce with dinner, for example! After using the Arzberg Sugar Bowl Form 1382, it can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
German designer Hermann Gretsch was born in Stuttgard on 17 November 1895. After studying architecture at the Technical University of Stuttgard, Hermann passed his companion examination in 1923. From 1930, he held a management position at the Stuttgard State Trade Office and worked at the Association of German Designers.
In the same year, Gretsch started working for the Arzberg porcelain factory. Here he remained artistic director until his death. He was a member of the NSDAP and took over the leadership of the Gleichgeschaltet Deutscher Werkbund from Carl Christoph Lörcher in 1935. In 1940, he became Reich Commissioner of the German contribution to the
VII Triënalle in Milan.
After 1945, he settled in Stuttgard as a freelance architect and led the relaunch of the Arzberg porcelain factory.
