This delicious snack is mega versatile, which is why there are so many different recipes for it. This recipe for protein banana bread assumes a basic banana bread with mostly healthy ingredients and no added sugars! The bread is made from oatmeal flour, which is not only gluten-free, but also has a low glycemic index. As a result, sugars are absorbed into the blood more slowly, keeping your blood sugar stable.

Protein banana bread

Protein banana bread is a healthy snack, rich in protein and with no added sugars. The batter is made from ripe bananas, eggs, dates, oatmeal flour, protein powder and walnuts, then baked for 30 minutes until golden brown. This nutritious bread is perfect for breakfast, snack or take-out, and can also be easily frozen by the slice.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 350 grams)
  • 3 eggs
  • 8 dates
  • 130 grams of gluten-free oatmeal flour (you can buy this, or just put your oatmeal through a blender)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 scoops (vegetable) whey protein powder vanilla
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • A handful of chopped walnuts (Possibly a few extra along with some goji berries for garnish)

How do you make a protein banana bread?

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (hot air)
    2. Mix the dry ingredients baking powder, oatmeal flour, cinnamon Enwhey powder) in a large bowl.
    3. Put the eggs, dates and bananas together in one blender Until it is an even mixture and add this to the dry ingredients. Mix the whole so that the lumps disappear. Then add the chopped walnuts and pour the batter into a cake mold.
    4. Bake nicely golden brown in about 30 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
