Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 350 ml milk
  • 250 g flour

Poffertjes with stewed pears

    1. Mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add the eggs and milk and mix together. Melt 50 grams of butter and add this together with the syrup to the batter and mix this again.
    2. Heat the poffertjes pan over medium heat. Put some of the batter in the dosing bottle. Grease the poffertjes pan well with a brush. Spray the batter into the cavities and fill them to just below the edge.
    3. Bake them for 1-2 minutes until bubbles come at the top. Then turn them on with a poffertjes fork. Also bake the other side of the poffertjes golden brown.
    4. Remove them from the pan with the fork and grease the pan again. Bake the next batch and repeat until the batter is on.
    5. A basic recipe was used for the stewed pears, or buy them ready-made. Cut them into pieces and serve the poffertjes with the stewed pears, a block of butter and powdered sugar.
