All credit for the recipe for this Healthy Green Smoothie goes to my boyfriend. For months now, he has been eating nicely along with my wheat-free tryouts in the kitchen and bravely tasting every sugar-free cookie I dish out to him. Fortunately, he likes most of it very much and I believe he does not find my new eating pattern such a drama. That makes me very happy.

Healthy green smoothie

Definitely try it and don't let the color scare you away. This green smoothie tastes really surprisingly delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 pears
  • 1 banana
  • 3 sprigs of mint
  • 2 handfuls of romaine lettuce
  • 2/3 glasses of water

Healthy green smoothie

    1. Wash the pears well and then cut them into large pieces. Do the same with the banana
    2. Then put the banana, pears, roman lettuce and mint in a blender and add 2/3 glasses of water.
    3. Blend this well for a few minutes until you have a smooth smoothie. Add some ice cubes so that your smoothie is nice and cold.
    4. Preferably serve directly or cover the glass blender cup well with aluminum foil and put in the fridge. Then remain good for one day! Enjoy it.

His enthusiasm about healthy eating is now so great that he regularly tries new things himself. And so the recipe for this healthy green smoothie appeared. My love for smoothies is great, but in general I only make it with fruit. I wouldn't make vegetable smoothies that fast myself, I think it's because of the color. Green. To drink. Anyway, of course I couldn't turn the homemade smoothie of my friend after everything I had served him and I also saw his face how proud he was on his healthy creation. So I just took a sip and I was positively surprised!

The mint and pear make the smoothies fresh and the banana gives it some sweet. The lettuce gives it a little healthy, because you (luckily) do not really taste it I thought it was so tasty that even a second glass went in and then it will immediately be a meal. You can also take 2 glasses for breakfast, especially because it is a smoothie of water, fruit and vegetables and therefore consists of pure vitamins. Be sure to try it and don't be put off by the color. This green smoothie tastes really surprisingly tasty!
