In the mood for a super simple and flavorful dish? Then read on quickly! Most of the work is in the steak, but this is much easier than it seems. You just have to decide whether you want it rare, medium or well done to determine how long you cook the steak. Either way, this salad will be on the table in no time!

With arugula and avocado

  • Grater (coarse)
  • Aluminum foil
  • Meat knife

Ingredients

  • Arugula or other lettuce
  • Good quality steak or tenderloin
  • 1 avocado
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • 25 g butter
  • Pepper & salt

Steak salad

    1. Make sure the steak is already out of the fridge for an hour before preparing. Consider how you prefer to eat your steak: if you like weird then you will bake it for a minute per side, for medium you bake it 2 minutes per side and if you like to bake, you can bake it for 3 minutes per side . 
    2. Let some olive oil on high heat get hot in the pan. Place the steak in it and fry it briefly by side. For weird: slightly shorter than a minute per side, so really only shut off. Now sprinkle some salt & pepper over it, put a large lump of butter in the pan and lay the heat low. Make sure the steak is just in the butter, remove it from the pan and let it rest for 10 minutes in aluminum foil.
    3. You now have a super tasty tender steak. When the meat is resting, make the salad: Hussel Pepper & Salt and olive oil through the arugula and place it over a bowl. Cut the avocado into cubes and divide it over the lettuce. Cut the steak into nice slices of about 1 cm. And place them on the arugula. Drop some olive oil over the whole and finish with coarse grated parmesan.

Tip!

You can do this salad customize As you want: for example, you can add fried garlic, or have some sontyates. You can serve it with a nice piece of baguette, seasoned potatoes or you make a delicious one Healthy dish of sweet potato. Anyway, enjoy it because it tastes great!
