On hot days I love nothing better than ice cream, but you have to have it in your freezer. I haven't yet discovered sugar-free ice cream or ice cream without milk, even though it's so easy. Fruit ice creams can be found on the site, but this banana ice lolly with chocolate and nuts, or with coconut, tastes completely different.

Banana popsicle with chocolate and nuts

On hot days I like nothing better than an ice cream, but you have to have it in your freezer. you can because this is a super easy recipe!

Equipment

  • Long toothpicks like wooden chopsticks. With these, you can easily put them in a glass or cup to let the chocolate harden.

Ingredients

  • 1 large banana
  • 50 grams of dark chocolate
  • 2 handfuls of almonds
  • possibly two tablespoons of coconut, if you want to make a variant with coconut

Banana popsicle with chocolate and nuts

    1. Cut the banana into 4 equal pieces and put a stick in each piece.
    2. Melt the chocolate au bain maire (in a bowl above hot water) and baptize the banana in it.
    3. Place the bananas in a (freezer -resistant) container or glass so that they remain upright. Make sure that the bananas do not touch each other. 
    4. Chop the nuts as finely as possible and divide them over a cutting board or plate. Then carefully roll the chocolate bananas through the pieces of nuts and make sure there are nuts over the entire Icelolly.
    5. Put the lollipops back in the glass and put them in the freezer. Let them get hard for a few hours and get them from 5 minutes before serving from the freezer to get up to temperature. Enjoy!
