Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 eggs
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 generous tablespoon of peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • Coconut oil (flavored or unflavored)
  • Handful of walnuts
  • Maple syrup

Banana egg pancakes

    How do you prepare the banana egg pancakes?

    1. The heel mill that belongs to a hand blender is ideal for this recipe! It is strong, just enough fits in the container and (unlike a food processor) it is so clean.
    2. Put the banana (in pieces), the eggs and the peanut butter in the mill. If you don't have a mill, put everything in a bowl and put the hand blender here. Grind the whole until an almost smooth mixture, there may be a few small pieces of banana. At the end you add the line and chia seed and cinnamon and turn on the mixer for a moment.
    3. Heat some coconut oil in the frying pan and fry pancakes of the mixture. I got 3 medium -sized, you can also opt for 2 large or 4 little ones.
    4. Serve with pieces of walnut and a dash of maple syrup. Yummie!

Tip!

With healthy siege you can vary endlessly. A few options:

  • Apple and raisins
  • banana and dried cranberries
  • Goji berries, coconut shavings and cocoa nibs
  • blueberries and raspberries (for example from the freezer)
  • To sweeten you can use honey or agave syrup
