Apple crumble is a delicious way for me to end the evening. The rich and warm flavor of apple combined with cinnamon has something homely about it. Besides being perfect comfort food for a cold fall or winter day, it is also a wonderful Christmas dessert. After all, this gluten-free apple crumble is easy to make, quick, and it's a nice sugar-free Christmas dessert for a fine Christmas dinner.

This dessert is not only delicious but also very easy to make! Perfect for Easter brunch or Christmas dinner!

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of oat flour (or another gluten-free flour, e.g. almond flour)
  • 100 grams of coconut oil (melted)
  • 4 sweet apples
  • 30 grams of raisins
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • pinch of salt

Apple crumble

    1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
    2. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Add the raisins, lemon juice and cinnamon and ginger and mix.
    3. Make a dough of the oatmeal, coconut oil and salt.
    4. Divide the apple mixture into 4 smaller trays (oven resistant) or a small spring form. Crumble the dough over it. If necessary, use some egg yolk to cover the dough.
    5. Bake for about 25-35 minutes until the dough is cooked. Enjoy!
