The ultimate comfort food in winter for me is Apple Crumble. Sitting on the couch at night with a big mug of tea and a warm bowl of Apple Crumble in front of your nose that smells deliciously of warm apple and cinnamon. Yum. Apple is nice and refreshingly sweet by itself anyway, so it doesn't necessarily need another natural sweetener, but you can add some stevia.

Gluten-free apple crumble

This apple crumble consists entirely of natural sugars. That makes it even more delicious comfort food! Perfect to end a dinner party with!

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, diced
  • 60 grams of almond flour
  • 40 grams of gluten-free oat flakes
  • 15 grams of rice flour
  • 50 grams of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 10 drops of stevia

Gluten-free apple crumble

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
    2. Cut the apple into cubes and put it in an oven -proof bowl. Here you do the stevia drops, cinnamon, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Mix well.
    3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, rice flour and oat flakes with melted coconut oil. Knead the dough quickly and coarse; It must remain grainy.
    4. Spread the dough over the apple pieces and fry wonderfully golden brown in 20-30 minutes. Beware, the dish and the crumble are of course very hot when they come from the oven!
