The Coravin Wine System Pivot is your ultimate storage aid for your favorite wines. With the Pivot, you can open your favorite bottle of wine at home during a party, dinner or 101 other occasions, even if it doesn't finish. With this wine system, you can store your bottle of wine for up to 4 weeks and you can enjoy the occasional glass at your leisure without worrying about shelf life.
How does the Coravin Pivot?
- Open the bottle of wine. Replace the cork or screw cap with a Pivot Stopper with the cap open (make sure the Stopper and the neck of the bottle are both dry).
- To pour, place the Pivot device in the stopper. Tilt the bottle so the spout hangs over the wine glass and hold down the button on the device. Release the button and straighten the bottle to stop pouring.
Coravin Pivot Accessories
In addition to the wine systems Coravin a number of useful accessories to enhance the taste of your wine. One of these is the Coravin Pivot Aerator, this accessory quickly puts air into your wine as you pour it, for a silky, smooth, aromatic result usually achieved by 60-90 minutes of decanting. The most important part of systems are the Coravin Pure Argon Capsules. These are the power source of the Coravin Timeless and Pivot. They are filled with pure Argon gas that pressurizes the bottle to allow wine to flow out of the spout, then blank the remaining wine once the system is removed.
