Two-layer vacuum bags. These vacuum bags are micro-textured so they can also go into smaller hand-held vacuum machines. The bags can be microwaved and you can boil or steam the bags to a maximum temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. They are also suitable for sous-vide preparations.
The inner layer (60 microns) is Polyethylene and suitable for food contact, while the outer layer (15 microns) is Polyamide. The total thickness is 75 microns (0.075 mm). The materials used act as a UV filter. Relief improves airflow out of the bag during the vacuum packaging process. The bags can be used at temperatures from -20˚ to 100˚C.
