How to maintain a Le Creuset Oven dish?
Before first use: make sure all labels have been removed. Wash the oven dish with warm water and detergent, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
After use: can put the oven dish in the dishwasher, but hand washing is recommended for longer life and beautiful appearance.
Cooking
Always use oven gloves when handling hot objects.
When used under the grill, always leave at least 6.5 inches of space between the heat source and the top of the dish. In the microwave, cover only the top of the product. The handles can get hot in the microwave after a long time.
Do not place a frozen dish in a preheated oven. Place it in a cold oven, set the temperature and let the two heat up together.
Want to add liquid to a dish in the oven? Then remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes first.
Cleaning
Wait by cleaning until the baking dish has cooled. Wipe leftovers from the bottom and edges of the product.
If food has been caked, fill the product with hot water and washing-up liquid and soak for +/- 20 minutes before cleaning it in the usual way.
Dry the pan well after washing and keep it in a dry place.
