No non-stick coating

Pans without a non-stick coating are 100% PFAS-free and withstand extremely high temperatures. This makes them ideal for searing meat. These pans are usually made from one or more robust materials, such as cast iron, stainless steel (SS), or a multi-layer construction like Tri-ply, which ensures even heat distribution. To keep the pan in good condition, proper maintenance is recommended. For example, pans without a non-stick coating should be washed by hand and regularly oiled to build a natural non-stick layer. Clean with hot water and a cloth.

Standard non-stick coating

This non-stick layer is a PFOA-free plastic coating: PTFE. Since PFOA is no longer used in this coating, it is safe for your health. A pan with a standard non-stick coating allows you to cook without using much oil or butter. The coating prevents food from sticking, making it especially suitable for delicate ingredients such as eggs, fish, and pancakes. A standard non-stick coating is suitable for temperatures up to 260 ℃; above this, the coating may be damaged.

Ceramic non-stick coating

Pans with a ceramic non-stick coating are 100% PFAS-free and can withstand temperatures up to +400 ℃. The smooth and hard coating gives your food a crispy finish. Additionally, food does not stick to the pan thanks to the ceramic coating. Your egg slides right out! These pans are particularly suitable for frying meat, vegetables, and eggs. It is recommended to hand-wash pans with a ceramic non-stick coating to prolong their lifespan. Has the pan discolored? Boil some water with vinegar in it to restore its shine.

Enameled Non-Stick Coating

Pans with an enameled non-stick coating are always 100% PFAS-free. Enameled means a protective layer of hard-melted glass covers both the inside and outside of the pan. This layer ensures food remains pure and retains its original flavor. Cast iron or roasting pans with enameled non-stick coating do not need to be seasoned and have an unlimited lifespan. Please avoid cleaning the pan in the dishwasher to prolong its life. Brown stains in the pan? Boil some water with vinegar in it, let it soak, then scrub the stains away.
