The chicory dish from the slow-cooker is a healthy, vegetarian main dish for four people. It combines chicory, baby potatoes, vegetarian bacon, spring onions, crème fraîche, mustard and grated cheese. After four hours of slow-cooking, it creates a deliciously creamy dish with a fresh touch from the spring onions and a savory cheese topping.

Ingredients

  • 6 stumps of chicory
  • 400 grams of small potatoes
  • 100 grams of vegetarian bacon
  • 5 spring onions
  • 200 ml crème fraîche
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 150 g grated cheese

    1. Start by finely cutting the chicory and cutting the spring onions into rings. When everything is cut, mix the crème fraîche and the mustard together.
