Puff pastry appetizers with pesto and tomato

How to make puff pastry snacks with pesto and tomato?

    1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees
    2. Defrost the puff pastry briefly.
    3. Cut each sheet of puff pastry into four quarters.
    4. Spread the puff pastry with pesto.
    5. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes into small pieces and top the sheets of puff pastry with these.
    6. Tear the basil into small pieces and divide over the puff pastry. Divide the thyme over the bites. If desired, grate some Parmesan cheese over the appetizers.
    7. Bake the puff pastry appetizers for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

To invest the puff pastry snacks I use vegetable strips from a jar: sun -dried tomatoes and artichokes. These are easy to pour off and when the products have already been pre -cut, your dishes are ready even faster. These Italian products ensure that the puff pastry snacks taste as if you were eating them in Italy.

Use some extra fresh herbs, such as dried thyme, basil and (if you have it in the house) rosemary. That combines wonderfully with the tomatoes and artichoke. And to complete it completely, garnish the snacks with some Parmesan cheese or Grana Padano. Ciao Italia!
